Description
Batéké Plateau National Park Batéké Plateau National Park is a national park in the Bateke Plateau, southeastern Gabon. Due to its purported universal cultural and natural significance, it was added onto the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List on October 20th, 2005.

The total area is 2,050 km2; average height plateaux with lots of valleys and gallery forests and savannahs covered with tall grass and bushes, it’s the last refuge for the ‘Téké’ fauna and an exceptional ornithological area.
